Our favorite way to enjoy fresh green beans is boiled in a pot with water, butter, potatoes, and a little bacon or ham, Yum! A little history on our Aunt Rhody Beans... This is a true heirloom variety, the beans we grow are the same exact beans my great grandmother grew! Each year she would pick for the final harvest, let the pods dry, shell 'em, then save the seeds, year after year. A tradition that my grandmother, mother, and now my family continue with each season. To our knowledge, we're the only farmer growing this variety for market.
